The difference between Restylane and Perlane is that the molecule in Perlane is about 4x larger, so it takes the body longer to break the product down. Perlane is also placed deeper in the dermis and has the ability to fill in folds with less material. Further, it stimulates the body to produce new collagen.

Restylane typically lasts 6-8 months, whereas Perlane filler treatment typically last 6-12 months. We tend to like Perlane better than Restylane for filling nasolabial folds since it last longer and usually takes less to achieve the desired look.
